Its training activities are oriented towards the development and transfer of specific skills requirements along the following areas: agribusiness promotion, project identification and formulation, rural finance, financial information systems, management development, rural communication, trainers' training, marketing/promotion of banking services, loan management, loan recovery and collateral substitutes, marketing and financing agri-exports and poverty alleviation.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS:
The training courses are of prime importance to senior and middle level officers involved in the expertise addressed in the courses.
Acceptance of nominations is subject to confirmation by APRACA CENTRAB.

METHODOLOGY:
Lecture/Discussions, Exercise, Role Play, Case Study and Field Study

COURSE REQUIREMENT:
Country/Institutional Paper
The course intends to encourage participants to exchange views and stimulate discussions. It will be helpful if the participant can prepare a 4 to 5-page report on the focus of the course he will participate in.
Language
English is used as medium of instruction. Participants are expected to have a working knowledge of the English language.
Clothing
Formal dress is more suitable for the opening and closing ceremonies. For other occasion, casual dress is all right.
ID Picture
The participants should bring a size 4.5 x 4.5 cm. colored or black and white picture for the directory of participants.

TRAINING FEE:
The course fee of US$1,830.00 per participant covers the cost of boarding and lodging for the course duration and a 2-year subscription to the APRF Journal.
Remittance may be by demand draft drawn on any New York bank or bank-to-bank transfer. APRACA CENTRAB maintains savings account no. 224-703996-4 with Philippine National Bank, Central Bank Service Unit, A. Mabini Street, Malate, Manila, Philippines.

INSURANCE:
The sending institution should cover its participants with comprehensive health insurance as APRACA CENTRAB and its co-host institutions will not be responsible for any health-related costs during the course.

FOREIGN TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
All participants must be in possession of passports valid for at least six months with proof of onward journey, either return or thru tickets. They are advised to contact the nearest concerned Embassies in their countries for visa requirements.
