Slide 1: The VOLINT Framework

The VOLINT Framework involves the collation of individual firms/companies climate actions (though internet links and online questionnaires that enable comparison). This information is used to draw out insights, lessons, success stories and common denominators. It will form the core of VOLINT, which will further be linked to (a) UNEP documents and guidelines on the issue, and as an extension, to UNFCCC, CC:INFO and other UN agencies, (b) other environmental and green initiatives.
Resource persons, organizations and institutions will also be part of VOLINT, providing the necessary knowledge and information for firms using the service. NGOs, national and regional government departments and agencies, chambers of commerce, guilds, professional and industry associations complete the picture, as second tier participants. |
