Women's Savings and Credit groups are organised into Clusters/ federations, with 500+ members. Members are issued identity cards, which are treated as 'debit cards' by them to access HEALTH services at all hours; from 'select'/pre-identified local health service providers; with an upper limit of amount (say Rs.500/ $10) depending on individual savings. Members then can access services at any hour of the day (by submitting the card and signing the bill, without paying cash). Cluster/Apex body then will pay to the Service provider and collect it from its member, at pre-defined interest rate.
