Hydro Energy

Unleashing the power of water
H
ydro energy is electricity generated through the use of hydroelectric power plants/turbines that convert the kinetic energy of falling water into electrical energy. Besides being renewable, hydroelectric power is also relatively inexpensive to produce and can be used in a variety of settings, from large dams to small run-of-the-river projects.
H ydropower or hydroelectricity (or simply "Hydro Energy") refers to the conversion of energy from flowing water into electricity. It is considered a renewable energy source because the water cycle is constantly renewed by the sun. Historically, one of the first uses of hydro power was for mechanical milling, such as grinding grains.
